Have you ever read a book that you can never get over?

This is one of the books I can never stop reading. I posted a book review on my Instagram page but the word limit is pretty less there and I wanted to write so much more about this book, so here's a long ass review for it.

Synopsis

When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.

Archer's voice is a story of a woman chained to the memories of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice.

It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.

My Review
"Loving you isn't a burden. Loving you is an honor and a joy, Archer."

OH MY GOD Y'ALL!

I cannot get enough of Archer and Bree! They are the cutest💘

This was probably my fifth or sixth time reading this book and I still cannot get over it. It's one of those books that I can keep rereading and never get bored of. Of course, there are some bits that I just skim through so I can get to my favourite part a lil faster but I still haven't gotten bored of this book.

I am so glad my friend introduced me to it! I was in my first year of uni when I met my friend. We realized we had pretty similar tastes and likings in everything and soon started suggesting books and movies to each other and gushed about them later.

After reading this book, I searched up more books by Mia and have loved every single one of them that I have read until now. I can't wait to read more books of hers!

I don't know what but there is something about her writing that makes me fall in love with the characters and their stories. I can keep reading her books again and again without getting bored. Colleen Hoover used to be my favourite writer but Mia has replaced her now👀

Also, I will always try to write spoiler free reviews but if I'm writing a spoiler, I'll give a warning to y'all so if you wish to skip that paragraph to avoid the spoiler, you can.

This story takes place in a small town where Archer lives. Bree is running away from her past and decides to stay in this town for a little while to try to get over an incident. When she encounters the town freak, he ignores and and acts cold.

Later, she realizes that he is mute.

Archer became an orphan and a mute in the same accident which left him traumatized and ever since that day, everybody in his town shunned him. Not used to the attention, he acts cold towards Bree but she does't give up. They continue to encounter each other on different occasions. After a while Archer gives in and the walls he built up slowly start to melt away.

"It suddenly occurred to me that Archer Hale had taught himself an entire language, but hadn't had a single person to talk to. Until Me."

This line broke my heart😢 I can't imagine how Archer felt. He taught himself a language but still couldn't talk to anyone. I am so glad he had Bree and she knew the sign language though. I feel like since they were the only ones around who knew the sign language, it kind of became a secret code language for them. I loved the part where Archer was signing naughty stuff to Bree in front of her friends which made her blush and her friends kept teasing and swooning over them.
Archer and Bree made me want to learn sign language hehe.
Archer was inexperienced in the sex department and for some reason I really liked it. It wasn't awkward at all. In fact, it was super intimate and passionate. Bree taught him everything and it was just super hot. That's it.
These two were made for each other.

I despised Archer's brother. He was the absolute worst. Evil af. I wanted to strangle him when he messed with Archer.

Honestly, I feel like I love when guys are vulnerable and insecure in books and need their partner. It's so rare because I read enough books with men always being the one protecting their girl and taking care of her while she feels insecure and stuff. I don't know but this definitely makes me all gooey inside hehe.

Archer was an absolute cinnamon roll and I loved him so much.

Even though Bree was Broken too, she helped Archer and always supported him because being with him made her super happy and made her forget about her shitty past, even if it was only for a little while.

I love how Bree's love for Archer made him want to be a better person for her and he did, he completely turned his life around and finally learnt to live it to the fullest💖

The way these two supported each other was amazing. Their passion, love and chemistry were on another level and I couldn't get enough of them. They really needed each other to get free from their demons and past.

If you don't like vulnerable men and prefer alpha men over them, then you might not like this book. At least that's what I have read from the other reviews.

But I honestly recommend this book to everybody. And if you haven't read it, I want you to read it RN RN RN. You won't regret it💕

Archer Hale will always be my forever love💙
