๐Ÿ‚8 Easy Fall Recipes to Try This Fall๐Ÿ‚

Happy fall y'all!๐Ÿ

What's something you like about fall?

I love the vibes, the leaves, the delicious food and everything pumpkin spice.

Imagine sitting in front of your window, watching all the colourful trees and their leaves falling down, while you're in your blanket with a cup of pumpkin spice latte and your favourite book in your hand. Your house is decorated with all the fall decorations. Sounds amazing right?

Wanna know what will make this even more amazing? Your house smelling like the delicious fall baked goods.

I love having my house smell like cinnamon during fall so I make sure to bake fall desserts during this time hehe.

What's your favourite fall dessert?

My fat ass loves everything sweet but if I do have to choose one then I think I would choose pumpkin pie. I honestly hadn't tried it before uni. We had a thanksgiving event in first year where they bought a box of pumpkin pie for us. I usually didn't attend any events because I am shy af but since they had pumpkin pie, I went and guess what? Even though my eyes were on the pie the whole time, I enjoyed a lot and made two new friends, out of which one of them is a really close friend of mine now. So I guess it was a success! I made a really good friend and also got to try pumpkin pie which was absolutely delicious but I am pissed that I missed out on it for so long.

Anyway, I tried making it at home and it was delicious but since I am not a professional baker, my pie crust got a little thick and stuck to the pan so we had to eat the pie out of it. That's the reason I didn't post the recipe for it hehe.

But, I am posting some of my favourite fall recipes here that I had posted on my Instagram in the past. It's easier to find them all this way! All these recipes are super easy to make and if you're a beginner, don't worry about messing it up because all these pictures that you see are from when I made all this for the first time. They might not look that good but they tasted delicious af and if I can do it, so can you!

Also, like I mentioned above, please keep in mind that I am not a professional and if you choose to check out my recipes videos or judge a recipe from the pictures that I post, you're gonna be wrong because all these recipes have been recorded the first time I made them and since I ain't a professional baker or a photographer, my content isn't as professional as you see in other blogs. My food for some reason does not look good, because I am clueless about how to decorate it and find a perfect camera angle for it, but rest assured they all taste absolutely delicious. I never post recipes that turn out bad, but always post the ones that are delicious af so maybe if you don't like how my dish looks, focus on the written recipe and then decorate your dish as you wish!

If you want to check out the blogger of each recipe, check my Instagram posts for their usernames.

1. Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Always a favourite! I spend so much money on Starbucks during fall for all the Pumpkin spice latte's and frappe's but I finally decided to save some $$ and make it at home. It might not be as good as the Starbucks ones but they are definitely a great substitute that help me with my pumpkin spice craving hehe.

Do you have a favourite fall drink from Starbucks? Let me know and I will try it out the next time I go out.

2. No-Churn Pumpkin Ice Cream

To be honest, I had never had pumpkin ice cream before. I didn't even know it existed until I searched up for some fall dishes. It was surprisingly delicious. I used the no-churn recipe which only consisted of like 9 ingredients out of which most of them were the spices. It was super easy to make and tasted so creamy and delicious.

3. Apple Cobbler

I absolutely love this recipe! I haven't told y'all this before but I hate fruits so I try to add em in my desserts so that I can eat them without cringing lol. But I am so happy because this recipe tasted delicious af and it makes the house smell like fall just landed at your home.

The first time I baked this, I took it out of the oven and while it was still warm, I went and asked my parents and brother to taste it. Not even 5 minutes later, the whole thing was gone lol. I barely got to eat like 2 bites. I also sent it with my mum to her friends place and baked it for a family lunch. It was a total hit. I definitely suggest you baking this dish! It's super soft, easy to bake and tastes delicious af.

You're definitely going to love it!

4. No-Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake

I honestly love cheesecakes so much. I can eat them all day, everyday but they're so fattening imma cry. I usually make no bake ones at home, and I don't even know why because I love both no bake and baked ones so much but I get the baked ones when I go out and make the no bake ones at home. I also have a bunch of recipes for different no bake cheesecake flavours on my Instagram. You can check them out @__mividaa__

Since I love cheesecakes so much, I was like I don't feel like baking a pumpkin pie because it's too much work but I sure as hell can make a cheesecake and I am pretty happy with my decision because this cheesecake was super creamy and delicious!

5. Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread is the first time I tried the Banana+Cinnamon combination and it was honestly so good. I usually make either cinnamon cakes or a combination of cinnamon and apple but this one was absolutely delicious, soft and moist and obviously made my home smell like fall!

6. Pumpkin Bars

I wanted to give this picture fall vibes with the candle but I think I failed lol

The first time I read about pumpkin bars was in the book Can't Help Falling by Courtney Walsh and I was wondering what they were. The FMC owns a bookshop with a small cafe inside it where she bakes all her goods. This bar was mentioned in that book. I, for some reason thought they were like the chewy protein bars or something but then I googled and realized what they really were so I decided to bake them. These bars will always remind me of that book.

The bars looked so pretty and were absolutely delicious and super soft. The cream cheese frosting is the cherry on top, it's my absolute favourite and it went really well with this recipe.

This is probably my favourite fall recipe and I cannot recommend this enough! My parents absolutely loved these bars and kept saying how it looks and tastes like the ones from Starbucks. Well, those are expensive af so we're just gonna make these at home from now on.

7. Apple cake

Ignore how it looks and focus on it's taste๐Ÿคค

Honestly, this was the best apple cake I've had. Yes, I know it doesn't look that good but trust me when I say that it was delicious af. The apples were so crunchy and the touch of rum made the cake even more delicious.

Like I said before, don't judge a book by it's cover hehe. Someone messed up the settings of my oven and I didn't remember what my usual one was so my cake ended up getting a lil burnt from the top, not from the taste, just by looks. I got super pissed but my mom helped me scrape off the top as much as she could without breaking it. I was still sad because I hadn't recorded my video so she put some apples on top to help hide it which didn't help that much but god bless her for trying to fix it.

I am so glad it didn't mess up the taste even a little, though it made the top a lil crunchy which I think made it even better. The top was crunchy and the middle and the bottom part were super soft and moist.

Thankfully, after almost messing up two dishes, I figured out my original oven setting and now my dishes are baking perfectly hehe.

8. Pumpkin Spice Latte

I recently went and bought a PSL from Starbucks but it's so expensive so I decided to make it at home myself. This recipe was a hit too! My dad usually doesn't drink coffee that much but he loved this one! Though it was delicious, I felt like the pumpkin flavour wasn't that strong for me even though everyone else thought it was perfect. I later read the whole post to realize that the notes section had a point where it said to add an additional tablespoon of the pumpkin puree for a stronger flavour. So adjust the quantity of it accordingly. Other than that it was delicious af and definitely helped me with my PSL craving.
