Greek Yogurt Bark

Hi y'all!
I hope you are doing well.
In my previous post, I had mentioned that I would also be posting recipes on here, so I'm here with my first one! Since it's super hot outside, I decided to post a summer recipe (even though summer is almost over, but in my defence I posted it on my other page during the summers lol). It's super delicious, healthy and a low calorie snack!
I recently started dieting and always keep looking for low calorie snacks, meals and drinks so you will probably see some of those healthy recipes on here.
My Instagram feed was filled with a lot of chocolate bark recipes during Christmas and they looked so good that I decided to try my own combination out. I absolutely loved it and have been finding more bark ideas ever since. I decided to post this one first since it's summer time and this recipe is perfect for this weather.
But honestly, there's no right time to make it, you can have it even when it's snowing outside, as long as you like to eat cold stuff in the cold weather lol.
I love eating ice cream during Winters too:P
Even though this recipe tastes good and is a great cold healthy snack that everyone loves, it does get a little messy since the yogurt starts melting fast. You gotta eat all of it fast before it melts lol.
This recipe is super easy, all you need is a baking tray(or any other tray), parchment paper, spatula, greek yogurt and some of your favourite toppings. It barely takes 10 minutes to prepare it all. The only thing that takes time is the freezing part, so make sure you make it well in advance!
For this recipe, I used the plain greek yogurt since I couldn't find the vanilla flavoured one in the grocery stores in my area. They were all out of stock😢 I mean it didn't taste as good as it does with vanilla yogurt but it still tasted delicious. If you're someone who doesn't like sweet stuff or is okay with moderate amount of sweetness then you can definitely use the plain yogurt. I have a sweet tooth so I wasn't satisfied with the plain yogurt lol.
If you're using the plain yogurt, make sure you add enough toppings because I left out some corners without the topping and that side of the bark tasted salty af.
Anyway, I love how you can get creative with the toppings! I usually just add whatever I have at home and it always ends up being a great combination.
People usually add berries to their yogurt barks but I only had cranberry so I ended up adding it with all the other toppings I found. I will be mentioning the ones that I used but you can honestly get creative with this recipe. You can also change the flavour of your yogurt if you find this one boring.
Some of my barks got a lil icy because the electricity in my area went out for like 20 minutes so they melted before refreezing. Make sure this doesn't happen to you!
Also, forgive me for the bad quality pictures and videos. I gotta cook and record on my own, at the same time and I ain't no professional with good quality equipments or skills. This is the best I could do lol.
But if you want to check out the video, you can check it out on my YouTube or Instagram page. I am attaching the links for the video of the Yogurt Bark Recipe. You can also just simple click on the image and it will directly take you to my Instagram post!
